Over the past 8 years at British Airways, I’ve worked as a Senior Frontend Engineer contributing to multiple high-impact projects that power the airline’s digital customer journey.

I led frontend development across major platforms like flight search, seat selection, price breakdown, and booking flows, consistently focusing on performance, accessibility, and usability. My work ensured compliance with WCAG standards, ultimately making BA one of the top two most accessible airline booking websites in the UK.

I actively contributed to A/B testing and experimentation, helping validate design decisions and optimize conversion rates. I also implemented tools for monitoring key UX metrics using Splunk dashboards, enabling data-driven decision-making across Digital and CI teams.

My responsibilities included:

  • Leading Angular upgrades (v11 to v17) and enforcing scalable component architecture
  • Collaborating closely with designers, QAs, and product managers across squads
  • Building new features for the Pay with Avios, Deep Linking, and Seat Map experiences
  • Supporting observability via Splunk, SonarQube, Cypress, and automated testing pipelines

My work has directly influenced BA’s ability to rapidly experiment, scale, and improve customer experience in a competitive travel tech environment.
